Todd Pickrell
Co-Creator, Illustrator
Todd Pickrell is the Executive Producer of Scott Winer Productions. He serves as the principal designer for all of SWP's internal and external projects. He joined SWP as Creative Director in September 2008.
Pickrell has created the graphic look for all of SWP's websites launched or redesigned since fall 2008 and sites created under the SWP Creative name. His other designs include the SWP Radio and SWP Creative logos as well as all SWP Radio logos and album art.
He has also designed logos and branding materials for North Fulton Psychiatric Care in Roswell, Georgia, and Winer Capital Management in Boston.
Pickrell has formally studied fine arts and design at various levels since 2000. His studies have spanned a wide variety of disciplines, including drawing, painting, ceramics, woodworking, graphic design and illustration.
He has earned memberships to the National Honors Society, National Arts Honor Society and Quill and Scroll. Pickrell received an award for cartooning in a local NAHS competition in 2004. A 2005 Kansas Honor Scholar, he has made The University of Kansas Honor Roll every semester since 2006.
In 2008, Pickrell received the Harley S. Nelson Family Scholarship in the Arts for his work in Foundations of Art & Design studies at KU. He currently works as a student assistant for the KU Digital Initiatives Program at The University of Kansas. He illustrates SWP's comic strip, "Little Scottie," which appears regularly in The University Daily Kansan, and co-hosts SWP Radio's podcast "The Bois."
Born in St. Louis and raised in Olathe, Kan., Pickrell is pursuing his B.F.A. in Industrial Design, a five-year program in KU's School of Architecture & Urban Planning.
